Hello!

Stephanie Little is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a clinical therapist at Sustainable Wellness. She received her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Nazareth College and SUNY College at Brockport and currently provides individual therapy to adults at the practice.

Stephanie believes that many mental health challenges are symptoms of unprocessed trauma. She is passionate about helping people safely explore their trauma and develop a deeper understanding of the impact these experiences have on their daily lives. She seeks to help people develop mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotional regulation skills, to improve relationships with the self and others. Stephanie looks most forward to helping people heal from their trauma, and learn skills to manage anxiety, mood dysregulation, stress, and interpersonal difficulties.

Stephanie is an empathetic and open-minded clinician, whose focus is on helping people heal from their trauma through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Ego-State Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and somatic sensory techniques. She lives by the standard of “more curiosity, less judgement,” and strives to create authentic, safe and transparent connection in order to bring healing energy into the therapeutic space.

Stephanie’s goal is to meet her clients where they’re at, build trust and safety, and help people to ultimately feel better in their lives. Her passion is to help people safely explore their trauma and develop a deeper understanding of the impact these experiences have on their daily lives.

Stephanie has been a social worker in the Rochester area since 2014, primarily supporting adults, people with disabilities, elderly, and families. She is a strong advocate for equality in health care and civil rights. When Stephanie is not meeting with clients, she enjoys spending time with her cats, aerial silks, and being in nature.
