Sexual Wellness

We hold space for all relationships, including polyamory, BDSM / kink, gender non-conformity, and transgender people.

Trauma can have a significant impact on relationships and sexual wellness. Human sexuality can also leave people feeling confused, ashamed and isolated, which can create trauma and/or attachment wounds.

Couples therapy can resolve a current problem, prevent an exacerbation of problems, or provide support for couples experiencing a period of transition or increased stress. Sometimes, couples therapy will show you’re truly meant to be with your partner. Other times, it will indicate that your relationship isn’t right for either or both of you. Either way, couples therapy helps clients answer important questions about the health of your relationship.

Sexual wellness therapists help clients increase knowledge of how the mind and body work when it comes to sex. It can be a powerful component of your healing, helping to make sex and intimacy feel less triggering. Our therapists can also help to clarify false or misleading information found in magazines and unreliable internet sources. Our services aim to support all types of relationships and sexual experiences from a holistic, trauma-informed lens.

What to Expect

Sex Therapy

Sex therapy is psychotherapy with a sexual focus. Your therapist will work to actively explore your sexual health from a holistic-focused, trauma-informed lens.

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling is focused specifically on your relationship or marriage. Everyday stressors can put a strain on relationships. Our therapists help you work on issues you are struggling with and build on your strengths. All sexualities and genders are affirmed.

Relationships

We offer therapy for partners in sexual relationships of all kinds. The first session typically begins with meeting both partners together for 60-90 minutes. You will be encouraged to discuss your concerns honestly while your therapist guides you to communicate and understand each other’s emotions with respect and compassion. Couples therapy does not guarantee a certain outcome for your relationship, rather the goal is to provide partners a safe space to discuss difficult concerns and work together toward solutions.

Gender Care

Many of our clients seek our help to explore their gender, preparing for a transition, or with other mental health concerns. Others are seeking letters or other documentation for gender-affirming surgeries. Whatever your need or concern, we do our best to provide an inclusive and comfortable enviornment for gender-diverse individuals.
