Advanced DBT Group

for those looking to enhance their DBT skills

About this Group

This virtual group is an agenda-based, topic-structured, skills integration group that encourages clients to apply their existing knowledge of DBT to current life situations, difficulties, and successes. Sessions will integrate skills from all DBT modules to generate strategies for future skills use, problem solving, and effective planning. It also includes mindfulness practices and mind-body work. Sessions include member-led discussions and a deeper look at how skills can address difficulties related to shame, abandonment, and managing loneliness. Participants must complete a DBT Skills Group treatment prior to attending this group, or have working knowledge of the content from a DBT Skills Group. If you have not yet completed a DBT Skills Group, please contact us.
