About this Group
About.
This virtual group is an agenda-based, topic-structured, skills integration group that encourages clients to apply their existing knowledge of DBT to current life situations, difficulties, and successes. Sessions will integrate skills from all DBT Skills Group modules to generate strategies for future skills use, problem solving, and effective planning. It also includes mindfulness practices and mind-body work. Sessions include member-led discussions and a deeper look at how skills can address difficulties related to shame, abandonment, and managing loneliness.
