Hannah Grajko, LMSW
Trauma Therapist
Hannah received her Master of Social Work from Simmons University where she also concentrated in Trauma-Informed Practice. She has been an integral part of the Sustainable Wellness team since July 2022, joining us initially as a clinical social work intern, then as our Intake Coordinator and now as a trauma therapist where she provides individua and group therapy to clients at the practice.Â
Pivoting from fulfilling careers in education and life coaching, Hannah approaches her work with clients from a deep conviction that all people have the ability to elicit lasting change, find internal calm, and make more skillful decisions if given the right tools. She believes in the ability of each of us to shift our perceived setbacks and struggles into opportunities for growth and learning. She sees her role with clients as a non-judgmental witness, curious co-collaborator, and vessel for authenticity.
Among other modalities, Hannah regularly integrates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and Nature-Based Therapy into her work with clients. She aims to offer transformative practices that can produce profound insights and emotional healing. Hannah’s work is influenced by Mindfulness-Based Therapies that can provide clients with effective tools regardless of their previous experiences with meditation practice. She is committed to meeting clients where they are by providing practical approaches catered to their needs and prior experiences.
In her free time, Hannah enjoys mastering new recipes, foraging for edible plants and mushrooms, exploring countries in Latin America with her partner, and giving belly rubs to her extremely fluffy Norwegian Forest cat, Luna.
