This virtual space is designed for teachers and other school-based providers to share stories, seek validation and support in a field riddled with ethical dilemmas and toxic work dynamics. The group works to acknowledge the immense pressures educators face in today’s increasingly threatened system and aims to reduce isolation, and burnout while reinstalling the inspiration within their work. This group meets virtually on Wednesdays from 6:10-7:10pm and runs for 8 weeks.
Location.
This group runs virtually through a secure video platform.
Rates.
The cost of this group is $320 for 8 weeks. Payments are typically made in weekly installments of $40/session. Payment is due regardless of group attendance.
Participants.
This group is for adult teachers and school providers (18+ years.)
Your Instructor
Phoebe Allen, LCSW & Kyle Skovira
This group is co-facilitated by Phoebe Allen, LCSW and Kyle Skovira, MS on a weekly basis. Phoebe is a trauma therapist and former school-based social worker, while Kyle brings in a restorative justice (RJ) lens as an RJ practitioner with their own wisdom from the field as an educator and an Clinical MSW Intern.
