About.
This virtual group is run like a class and teaches skills across four main topics: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance skills. The group continuously cycles through three 8-week modules, each designed to build mastery to a specific skillset. Participants are required to complete homework assignments where they practice the skills taught during each weekly lesson.

This group runs virtually through a secure video platform.Â
Participants.
This group is for adults ages 18 and older. Due to the module-based structure of this group, space is limited and payment is due regardless of group attendance unless another plan is made with the Group Coordinator prior to the start of the module. Attendance is expected each week.
Your Instructor
Sara Adams, LCSW-R
Sara Adams (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) and owner of Sustainable Wellness. She manages the operational and supervisory needs of the practice while offering individual and group therapy services to clients. Sara has worked in a variety of nonprofit and mental health settings. Throughout her experiences, she discovered that many mental health struggles link back to unresolved traumas. Sara regularly integrates EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic work, and Schema Therapy into her therapeutic approach with clients.
